Lyceum Impulse in the Old South: Who Spoke, Who Listened, and Why It Matters. Nearing completion of a multi-year archival project recovering the lyceum movement of the Antebellum South–its oratory, history, adult and college permutations, and well as a novel chapter on the female orators. Advance contract issued by Parlor Press (Clemson University), January 2020. Will be submitted for peer review January 2021.
